I shot him!..... In the leg!

1. How long have you been writing fan fiction?

I've been writing fan fiction since I was in junior high, and my god, isn't it fortunate that those early Mary Sue-ish dribbles... I mean, drabbles, don't exist anywhere thirteen years later. They were Lord of the Rings and later in high school Jane Austen fics, and I started actually writing online fanfiction with Harry Potter about six years ago.

2. Have you participated in any other fandoms?

Obviously LotR, Jane Austen, and Harry Potter, where I've spent most of my time, but I've moved into SG-1, House MD, and Spiral (anime) lately. This is my first time shifting from SG-1 to Atlantis.

3. What do you enjoy most about SGA and/or SGA fandom?

I love snark, which McShep cannon and fannon is full of, and love writing witty bits, so that explains why I've made myself at home with Snape/Lupin, House/Wilson, Daniel/Jack, and now McShep. With McKay, particularly, there's a character that you can enjoy his bits of pettiness, which is rare in characters. I also love Sci-Fi, because I am a bit of a science geek. Only so long a girl can be best friends with a chemical engineer and not pick up a love for Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

4. Why did you choose to join Team Angst/Team Romance?

At the moment, I'm spending huge chunks of time on my master's project film script, and it's angst, followed by sadness, followed by a bit of tragedy and then topped off at the end by devastation and angst. Somehow, something different seemed like a good idea!

5. Where can interested readers find more of your work?

Well, my Harry Potter stuff is housed at The Chamber of Secrets under the pen name Prosperine, and my writing livejournal is serene_quill.

I am hopefully going to get my website back up and running for my original work and scripts, but 10+8+8=26 hours of the day used up by work, master's project, and sleep, so I've left it sitting as a page with a bunch of peacock feathers with a "coming soon" sign for the past four months.
