And despite everything I like Derek and how he brings them together. *lol* It's a bit like a 'shortcut' he's offering, with the outing and the proposing to John and talking to Rodney. Who knows if and when Rodney and John otherwise would have found the opportunity to talk about their feelings?
So in the end they should be grateful. *g*

Yeah, Derek gets things rolling because he doesn't care at all about the fallout of what he says, so he doesn't censor himself. I doubt that John and Rodney would ever express their gratitude, but I'm sure Derek will point it out to them *g*
