New Job...

First day of the new job was today, and it was about what I expected. Lots of paperwork, basic orientation stuff, and a little bit of info regarding my actual job. Cool thing is that I'll have my own desk and computer with a DSL connection, and eventually my own phone line. My first three weeks are going to be really hectic, as two different people

Anyway, the new job sounds nice. It'll just be hard to adjust to the amount of hours, since you're used to working hardly any now.. :)

Yeah, it'll be a difficult adjustment...but a welcome one. I'm more concerned about working 8-5 most days...I'm not a morning person by any means.

Glad I got out of Baymont when I did. Over the weekend some fucking ignorant kid blew himself up when he botched something in his meth lab. He had set up a lab in a 4th floor room and somehow it exploded, burning him over more than half of his body. Severely damaged his room, and caused water damage to virtually the entire hotel due to the sprinklers. At least the fire was put out quickly, so the damage from that was minimal...

Trust me... I'm not a morning person either. I couldn't stand working 8-5. But I'm sure that it's worth it, for you.

But damn... I thought domestic violence happening in our hotel was a big deal. Can't believe that there was a meth lab going on...that's fucked up. Glad you got out of there when you did, yes.

Hehe...yeah. Nobody was hurt, and thankfully Andrea was off that night too. Apparently the explosion happened less than an hour after the kid checked in, so he obviously knew what he was planning on doing. Doubt he planned on blowing himself up though...LOL.
