So I got a brief and unexpected call from Andrea tonight. During the first week of basic training, she was repeatedly having breathing problems, and they think she has some sort of lung problem. She's always had some trouble breathing during strenuous activity, but it was a lot worse with the rigors of basic training

Seriously though, I'm very happy for you. It's funny how things work out... I hope her lung problem gets better, but maybe it's a sign that her deployment wasn't meant to happen.
