Freakin' hell, it's cold outside. We've now had 5 straight days with snow and/or ice falling at some point, and I don't think it's gotten warmer than 25 during that whole stretch. It's all of 13 right now, and the high tomorrow is 12. Low is -2 tomorrow night...damn. I'm SO ready for spring ( Read more... )

Oh, so you still get to make it there for a Blues game! Great! Is the game you're going to the Valentine's Day game? If so, you should check out the Blues website. At the (terrible) game tonight, they advertised a Valentine's Day deal. For $10, you can get a rose (and card, and chocolate) delivered to her seat. I'm sure Andrea would love it! And who knows, maybe the Blues can actually win that game (I mean, come on... its Pittsburgh).

The way they've been playing, I don't think they could beat the Evansville Thunder bantam team. LOL...

The three games I've got left on my schedule are Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Chicago...3 of the worst teams in the league. If they don't win at least one of these, I'm going to pop an artery.

It is indeed the V-Day game...don't think I'll go with the special deal though. She's not much of a romantic...hell, I'm more romantic than she is. That is a cool program though...

Never underestimate an unromantic's secret desire for random romantic touches.

Anyway, as for the Blues... imagine me - I have a season ticket, and the season is starting to get a little painful to watch! After last night, I was honestly expecting to hear about a coaching change, or something drastic (though Pleau seems to only be capable of bringing back players from the 97-98 season. Pellerin, Rheaume... who's next, Atch?). The Blues just look... talentless. They need an infusion of SOMETHING. Last night's game... the feeling from the crowd was despair. Despair that we might have to watch more of this crap. I mean, losing is one thing. But when you can't even make it fun? At all! Grrr. Damn instigator rule.
