Title: The Last Kiss
Rating: PG
Word Count: 311
A/N: I accidentally stumbled across this in a notebook mixed in with notes on the history of linguistics and Seamus Heaney from 2008. And then the community opened up again so I thought, eh, perfect timing. Unbeated so all mistakes are belonging to me.

Wow, that's intense. I really, really hope he doesn't, either.

Well done!

Brought tears to my eyes! Facing mortality is universal, and yet so personal. And facing the mortality of a loved one can be the very worst.

Awe! *hands you tissue* Was not going for tear inducing.

Sadly, I was losing someone very close to me around the time this was written, I don't remember if it was directly inspired by, but I'm sure it's what I was thinking!

Thank you. :)
