I know there are at least a couple of people out there who could use an extension on their smoochlets, so this round of mcsmooch is extended until Wednesday, May 5th at noon in your part of the world! \o/

I know this is short notice, but could the extension be a bit extended-er, to maybe midnight? The little McSmooch I was writing blew-up and is now sitting in at 3,000 words, and they still haven't kissed yet. It is rather frustrating.

I could finish it up and post it later as it's own fic, but it's a response fic to one of the art pieces posted earlier. Also, I'm useless without a deadline. While I can't make noon (blame BP, I sure as hell am), I should be able to finish it after I leave the office tonight.

If you can't, I understand. Thank you for the McSmooches, I always cheer when I new round is opened.

Thank you for keeping the challenge open for me, but it's become pretty clear that my McSmooch is no longer a McSmooch so much as a 9,000 words and counting thing that ate my brain. I don't think I'm going to finish it in any reasonable amount of time, so it seems unfair to ask to keep it open any longer.

I really do appreciate it, and I'm sorry if this has inconvienced you.

Oh gosh, no inconvenience at all! Please don't worry about it! I'm sorry it ate your brain, but not at all sorry there's a 9,000 word and counting McShep story in the world. Why don't you drop me a line when you're done, and I'll throw up a note on the comm to say that it originated as a smooch. It'll direct some traffic over to your journal.
