Recipient: tarie Prompt: Ron/Draco - "Born again from the rhythm screaming down from Heaven" (Jeff Buckley, 'Mojo Pin') Word Count: 130 Rating: R
There are moments when Draco is no longer a Malfoy, moments when he’s no longer a Slytherin, no longer the princeling with his fawning coterie. Such moments ought to frighten him, and they do, and yet he finds himself seeking them again and again. He ought to be able to stop. He ought to.
He doesn’t stop.
“Oh, fuck, yes…” Curls of red hair spike up between his fingers and his knuckles dig into the other boy’s scalp. When he comes everything is torn from him and he’s a star floating somewhere in the void, part of some unnamed constellation.
Fucking a Weasley, his mind reminds him contemptuously as he returns to himself. Can you get any lower?
He thinks he can, and perhaps that’s what frightens him the most.

Oh, hurray! I'm so glad you liked it. I was really pleased with the prompt. It left room for me to play and it's a pairing I enjoy as well. Thanks for the opportunity!

Draco: Okay.
Very interesting piece--you've done a lot with the short space.

Oh, MAN, do I love this!
I adore this glimpse at Draco here, how he's so self-destructive and aware of it, but he's caught in some sort of a cycle.
This is TERRIFIC, thank you so much! :D :D :D

I loved this line: When he comes everything is torn from him and he’s a star floating somewhere in the void, part of some unnamed constellation.
And the first paragraph. And... actually, okay, I loved all of it, so if I go on I will just end up citing the whole drabble back at you.
