Recipient: magistera Prompt: Harry/Snape, songfic to Stevie Nicks' The Edge of Seventeen Word count: 100 Rating: PG A/N: Couldn't resist doing just one from the list of leftovers!
Everyone eventually learned what Snape had sacrificed for the Order. But the new Minister for Magic insisted justice be served, declaring, 'Murder cannot be condoned.'
Snape vanished.
It took Harry a long time to find him, living like a hermit in the Hebrides.
'Come back,' Harry said. 'You're a hero. Percy'll have to back down, let you live in peace.'
'Peace,' Snape repeated. He looked out across the greyness. 'Perhaps I've all the peace I need right here.' He gestured towards the water. 'The sea changes colours, Potter, but unlike people, the sea doesn't change. I know which I prefer.'

I wasn't 100% happy with this one, so here's the revised version. (I hope that's allowed!) Thanks for reading!
Peace
