Recipient: venivincere
Prompt: No Dogs Allowed
Word count: 267
Rating: PG. Bit of humour, bit of angst.

Remus watched them from a corner, like he always did, and smiled ( ... )

Aww, that's so bittersweet. I loved the fun elements of their schooldays, and then the ending floored me. Very well done.

I can't tell you how mortified I was when I saw you'd got my prompt (!), but I have to say I just love this. It's so painful in that moment where what used to be a source of great, good feeling becomes a damning point of pain. Excellent work; thank you so much for the drabble!

Geez, A. I had to smile thru most of this, especially the magic marker moment ( had a teenager who did this, but it was on his forehead). Then the last couple of lines took my breath away. You always manage to do this too me, and this time I was lulled to let my guard down... Beautifully done, as always.

Gah, I love how you hit both hysterical and heartbreaking so naturally. Lovely work.

Damn you! You had me all happy and relaxed with the comedy, then tore my heart out and stamped on it with big stompy boots. Hmmph.

(but I like it that way, really.)
