Recipient: senji Prompt: A Hufflepuff saves the school, for once. Word count: 100
She surveyed the roof. One Dementor lay crushed, its cloak ragged with Transylvanian Nettles. A Death Eater’s leg rolled towards the drainpipe, pinkish soil still visible at the severed edge. A vampire’s pointed canine had got more than it bargained for when it hit an unripe Granny Smith.
But there was still one corrupt Minister for Magic to deal with.
“Professor!” Zacharias screamed. “I’ve run out of Venomous Tentacula!”
“Well, you can -”
“He’s behind you!”
Sprout spun and dispatched her enemy with one quick thrust. Homicidal hybrids were all very well, but you can’t beat a nice sharp cucumber.

As someone who once got an eggplant spine in the finger (which took two weeks to come out), I greatly respect this drabble and the Power of Sprout's Cucumber.
