Prompt: Bellatrix loves Narcissa, but she never seems to realize that Narcissa is terrified of her.
Word count: 100
Rating: PG, allusion to torture

"Cissy." Bellatrix greeted her with a smile. The man on the floor - muggle or wizard, Narcissa wasn't sure - moaned and tried to crawl away. Narcissa didn't feel sorry for him, not really, but she preferred to keep out of these things.

"I'll come back later."

"Stay." Bellatrix's face was flushed with excitement, as if Narcissa had intruded on her doing something quite different.

"I don't want to interrupt." Narcissa edged towards the floo-connected fireplace.

Bellatrix flung an unaccountably heavy arm around her shoulders. "Stay, you can help me." She was easy to anger, always had been. Narcissa stayed.

This is AMAZING. I love how Bellatrix is so gleefully happy about what she's doing and expects other death eaters to share in her excitement, and how Narcissa is not a nice person but that doesn't mean she wants to get involved in the physical work of torturing. It's really beautiful, thank you so much!
