Method to her madness ragdoll July 26 2009, 07:10:37 UTC
Recipient: lordhellebore
Prompt: Bellatrix/Neville - "Though this be madness, yet there's method in't."
Word Count: 141
Rating: R
Warnings: non-con, darkfic

Every night, Bellatrix summons Neville to her bed. Every night he goes to her, wanting to resist, but failing miserably.

Every morning he wakes by her side, wishing he could die.

Bellatrix reminds him that there are worse things you can do to your enemy than kill him. That would be too simple. Using a filthy blood traitor in every way imaginable is far more effective and far more satisfying. Especially when he knows you were the one responsible for torturing his parents and driving them into madness.

Neville tries to break her Imperio's hold, attempts to fight as she whips and licks and bites and sucks and fucks him until he's left raw and bleeding and exhausted. He wishes he were stronger, like Harry had been until the bitter end. But Neville is not Harry. He's weak and foolish.

And hers.

Wow, fucking creepy, and very well done. Very Bellatrix. I don't really read non-con, but I thought I'd give this one a go because it's Bellatrix and I'm a bit of a fan.

Thanks! I love Neville and hated torturing him like that, but its hard to imagine fluffy Bella/Neville!

Agreed, on both counts. Props to you for being brave and making it realistic!

Thanks again! I kind of creeped myself out to be honest! Then again, I usually do when I write Bella (and when I used to RP her).

Hahaha, I do that sometimes. I'm always amazed at the kind of shit lurking in my brain. I actually have to write non-con for a fic I'm working on in another fandom (it fits the story, and there's no other way I can achieve the proper effect without at least MENTIONING it), so I'm wondering how far my brain will wander off without me... o_0;

I am normally mild mannered and not really into gore, violence or dark fic, but put Bellatrix in my hands, and suddenly I go to hell in a handbasket. I think the worst was when I was RPing her and suddenly was writing Charlie Weasley being raped by two (male) Death Eaters and then sliced open throat to groan and strangled with his own intestines while his fiancee (Tonks) watched, all on Bella's order.

I have no idea where that came from...o_0 I only write non-con as something really nasty and creepy though...I can't deal with it being glamorized!

Holy crap! It's amazing what our brains can let loose, isn't it?

Yeah, same here. It plays a role in a larger story in the one I'm writing, and I'm so squeamish about it I won't even have him finishing the job... well, I shouldn't need to explain why non-con is scary XD but basically the point was to reveal a dark character trait about one of the people in the story. I love the female character too much to have anything truly horrible happen to her. Besides, she dies in the canon, and will die soon after the attempted rape unfortunately, so I figure she should die proud of her ability to defend herself *nods* but yeah. The male character in question is one that fandom has a field day with - he's ALWAYS creepy and evil, so I'm not too out there on that one XD

I actually may have to expand this into a real fic at some point since I've got a lot of backstory now in my head. I don't know how I managed to fit it into 141 words.

I feel terrible torturing Neville this way, but I couldn't imagine fluffy!Bella/Neville! (and hey, I've got a Neville-in-my-head too. He's not too happy with me at the moment...)

Hahahahaha - I already expanded mine into a fic. I fail at drabbles, and this time I failed at a ficlet too! LOL

Fluff and Bellatrix are like oil and water. Actually, more like the two ends of a magnet. :-P No, this was perfect!

I just forced myself to make it short, otherwise I'd be writing it for the next month and I just can't! Esp when I have a ridiculously late summersmut story to write. It's going into my 'to write' pile though. So maybe around 2015 it'll be finished.

Can't wait to read yours though!

Ouch. That's...evil, really, and perfectly IC. Thank you - darkfic and non-con are exactly my thing.

Oooooh, look at you and your darkfic self!! This is great! What a messed-up pairing, but deliciously so, and I love that she'd use Imperius on him. Poor Neville!
