Oh that was great! Kind of creepy, how she had to get rid of Dumbledore to 'make space' for Harry. Sounds like Dumbledore was the one she chose before Harry, but now that there was a new one... manipulating Snape to cast the curse. *shiver*
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee creepy! I love seeing the limits of her control, and yet she gets what she wants in the end. Hogwarts can afford to play the long game. Marvelous and just the kind of thing I wanted.
I like Hogwarts as Not Nice - taking favourites, helping them, and discarding them, too, with no sign that she appreciates anything about their natures or feelings. And manipulating others to serve her selfish whims. Go you!
