The things that come into your mind on a rainy evening. Why doesn't any of the professors wear a ring. Why is none of them stealing an effectionate glance at another. It's none of my business of course, but it still makes me wonder every now and then. I know it would be very much out of character for someone like McGonagall to tell an anecdote about her husband (not that she tells many stories at all within our earshot), but I'm still curious. The more I see of this prim and proper head of house with her hair always bundled up, always the same stern face, i'd like to hear her say something that reminds her of the one she loves and then makes her smile. As for the others, well it's the same thing. I'll never ask any of them a bout it, i'm just curious if someone like Snape has a significant other living in Hogsmeade where he goes to every weekend. Stupid questions like that. It's the kind of thing I like to fantasize about when i'm alone in this four-poster bed.
