I am glad you decided to start in the Ninjette! It has served many beginning bikers quite well, and when you upgrade, you can probably sell it for close to what you bought it for!

I have actually considered getting one of these as an intro to crotch rockets!

Yeah it's SO much fun, I love it. We get beaten up by gusts of wind pretty easily though haha. It's really easy to learn on, but kawis like being revved and going fast, so slow speed drills become difficult when she's all warmed up.
