I just found out yesterday that Jeff's parents can't afford to pay for his college anymore so he won't be coming to Santa Cruz next year. Instead he's going to community college to get a 2-year degree. I won't see him for a whole year.

What does proximity got to do with it? What community college is he going to? Is that far away that you won't be able to see each other?

Does love really have boundaries? I mean are you going to stop thinking about him because he lives further away? Is there no way for you two to be together? Can't you drive or find another way there? Have you looked into staying together or have you given up?

He lives in Southern California. He'll probably be able to drive up to see, but I probably won't have time to get my lisence because of classes. (I'd need practice first, lots and lots of practice.) I know this is not the end of our relationship and I'll always love him no matter how far away from me he his. But it's just going to take some getting used to. I'm used to him living across the quad, not the state.

Its tough to be away from loved ones...It is still awesome that you are going to try and make it work. You don't have to worry about practice at first. All you really need to do is pass a test to get a driver's liscense. You can learn the driving at your own leisure.

I did take the test once and I failed. I'd need practice to pass it.
