Tortas Cubanas and Cheap Wine should NOT be allowed together
Ok, if you can see the time I'm posting this you can tell that something is wrong here... I NEVER EVER get into the internet at this time, much less write to my journal... so this is the story:
Turns out that adrian needed me to go with him to the marina where he has his boat stored, so I went to his place and after he ordered a breakfast over the internet for her girlfriend (it's gonna be her B-day soon), we went to woodbridge to get the boat.. since the ride on the boat was going to be long, i brought along a couple of 1.5 lt. bottles of red wine (ok, if you ever buy wine, you HAVE to know that when it comes in 1.5 lt. bottles, it is 1. bad and 2. will make you regret you drank it),,, anyways, on the way we passed by a mexican restaurant that adrian knows, and we stopped by to get food to go.... so we go there and adrian asks what "tortas" (sandwiches in mexican) they have, and they start telling us all the varieties until they come to the famous "torta cubana" which has everything on it... that inmediatelly appealed to me, and without hesitation I asked for that one.. and of course adrian followed my decision, so we got this two huge tortas with us for the boat.
So we got the boat and stopped by in an area where a beach was close by, and started eating the tortas with wine... the thing was HUGE!!, but still I finished it like in 5 minutes.. I'm like a dog when it come to eating, I just munch and munch :P
So, after that we kept drinking the wine as we went through the Potomac to the marina where he parks his boat during spring/summer, which is very close to home. we must have arrived there at 8:30 or somenthing.... and then, I don't have a clue of what happened... I just remember that I have woken up at this time feeling my stomach as if Bruce Lee had decided to kick it furiously :-P, so I went inmediatelly to get some water... damn torta, came back to haunt me!!!!! :-(
Hell, I'm pretty sure that everything was ok, but still it sucks that your brain simply did not record things that happened to you.... all right I'm getting sleepy again :-) hopefully after some water my stomach will calm down.... zzzzzzzzzzzz
