I realize I'm like three years behind, but I just discovered Merlin, and I kind of love it like cake. Delicious, delicious cake. I'm not even sure if anyone on my flist watches this show, so feel free to skip over my thoughts. Merlin is amazing. The show gets so good in seasons 2 and 3. I'm with you on not shipping Arthur/Merlin; I prefer them as BFFs and confidantes/advisers for each other. With Gwen and Arthur, it took me a little while to "see" it with them, but now I ship it like burning. I won't say more because I don't want to spoil you, but I love their relationship and how it grows over the 3 seasons.

Enjoy the show!!! It's UBER fun.

I'm now two episodes into season 2 and I somehow went from shipping nothing to shipping everything. I totally get Gwen and Arthur and am overwhelmed by their adorableness. Merlin/Arthur are growing on me, though I'm still not really behind the pairing, if that makes sense. I guess I...casually ship it? IDK this is a very shippable show, I'm down with anything. I know where they're going with Morgana and it makes me so sad because I want the Fab Four to stick together forever in sexually tense bliss.
