1H (1S) P (P)
2D? (P) 2S (P)
3H? (P) 4S (P)
?

(a) do you agree with 2D and 3H?

(b) your agreements here are "kickback when obvious".
Is it obviously kickback or does partner obviously have AK-8th of spades and a stick?

Does "kickback when obvious" mean "off when in doubt" ? ___ when in doubt is the right way to make agreements about Kickback. Anyway, I would pass. With a strong hand, partner really should have bid 4NT to avoid this kind of confusion.

In a non-competitive auction (partner presumably responds 1s) I'd bid 2h then 3d because I'm not strong enough for the 3rd round reverse. However I don't have a problem with the bidding here since 2d shows 5-5.
