Okay, here's the deal.

I just started watching 30 Rock on Sunday afternoon on Netflix streaming (and since I'm on 3.20, I obviously haven't stopped since). I don't know why I show up to these parties so late, but I often find great stuff on tv long after everyone else does. And I also immediately join comms and find fic. :) I did that last night, and read about a dozen of your stories...all of which I loved!

I generally comment on everything I read, because as a writer myself, I know how it feels to get one review on a story you know in your heart is awesome. At the same time, I hate to look like a crazy person commenting on twenty stories from years ago. Point of this stupidly long comment: I just watched episode 3.19, so now I understand the "comely geologist in a snowcave" reference, and decided I had to let you know that this story is wonderful, you're a great writer, and I look forward to watching more episodes, reading more of your fic, and posting far shorter comments in the future. :)

There are few things I love more than comments on old fics!

You are very generous. I hope you like the rest of what you see. I don't know if you're working backwards in time through 30rockfanfic or whatever, but as you go you'll see that I'm filling the shoes of some truly exceptional writers like michellek and mindymakru, who sadly seem to have taken the last year or so off.

I hope that when you get all the way through the series you'll come back and try your hand at some fic!

I love it, too! Sometimes I'll get a random comment on a story I wrote back in 2007, and it just makes my day! :)

To be perfectly honest with you, your stories were the ones I chose to read last night because a.) it was after midnight and I was reading them on my phone in bed, so I just read what I came to first b.) they were mostly short ficlets, and c.) you seem to be one of the only writers currently posting on LJ. It was a happy accident that everything I read turned out to be so good! I'm always thrilled to give a talented writer a pat on the back.

Thanks for the rec on other stories! I'll definitely check out all the fic I can.
