Well it's a bit of stretch, as Jack's never been in a position where he really had to give up something big for her. But it's a choice I like to think he'd make.

Jack pining was where 30 Rock fanfic started and it feels really natural. Now that Liz's endgame seems pretty set, I'm curious to see where they leave Jack's personal life. What seemed a few years ago to be a straightforward development arc has taken some odd turns.
