Thanks! I've recently re-read a few old fics that really get into Liz's internal monologue, and after seeing what a tough act that was to follow, decided to do this one from Jack's perspective.

I find writing-style comments particularly useful/complimentary.

I'm glad it worked for you. In fact, I initially composed that last scene as a downer ending (Liz would totally go and get married secretly to avoid the confrontation), but realized it would work much better this way!
