i was talking to asq last night and a thought hit me (or rather he brought it to my attention): what if my supervisor has been washed away in the GreatAsianTsunami2004? he's totally been vacationing in coastal Tamil Nadu. dude i hope not. i haven't even begun my degree

She stood atop the grassy hill, head towards the clear sky, listening to the cows braying. She was straining against herself. She imagined that if she could just will it, she would fly.
