I’m planning a US and UK trip for later 2010 or sometime in 2011 and I need some advice. What are the best conventions/events to go to in those countries as far as meeting a bunch of readers and industry people? If I can tie a couple of events in together it would be great.

World Horror is in Brighton in 2010 and is worth attending.
Eastercon is more of a fan convention but publishers do attend.

I'm happy to help with accomodation in London. With luck we'll have moved by then and I'll have actual Spare Rooms instead of crash space.
