Well, I’m back in the seat after surgery, quite weak still but had enough of thinking about it for the moment. Loved all the kind messages on Facebook, so THANK YOU to everyone. Got me through a few bad days.

So let’s think about the year instead. Tara Sharp book 2 popping along, and Trans Space will be out in November. Burn Bright rewrite to do as

I would have loved to try and meet you IRL while you were here in Perth... except I'm going to be in Brisbane the week of the Writers Festival!

It tooks me months to get over a keyhold gallbladder surgery. Don't push too hard, and take the good drugs when you can

Thanks, Callistra. That makes me feel better. I keep thinking I should feel better straight away and then I have to go to bed.

I was so diappointed. I kept hearing about how I should be up in a week, so I was hoping to get some work on my novel done in the second week... and in the end, I lost about a whole four weeks.

You're the only person who can know how your body is, and post op we need to listen to it now more than ever. And find a way to stay sane. (I played a lot of bejwelled.)

I'm so glad to hear you're back and recovering.

I missed everything (having had my own interesting time - no surgery though, just an interesting time) and am a bit relieved I did - and very glad you're on the mend.
