Wow, what a day.
*hugs*
I still don't get the whole yard inspections thing. I mean the reason for it. I know you've explained it. I think weekly inspections would drive me nuts. I just keep thinking how much can your lawn grow in a week? Here, we've been lacking rain for it to grow much.
As my niece and nephews have been here the last two days I've been reminded how much little kids need their mommy. Sometimes my niece plays quietly by herself for a while or with someone else and other times she cries and cries and the instant mom picks her up all is better.
Ewww, cockroaches. I hope never see them in person.

Thanks for the hugs, I needed them! And be happy you've never seen cockroaches. They're disgusting.

Oh, my God. I'm sorry to laugh at your expense, but that's like an episode of a bad sitcom!! That is a truly awful day, and I'm so sorry, especially about the creepy insects and the dog running away and your baby crying and your being reduced to tears. Blechy. I feel your pain. Seems I have had a lot of bad days lately too... Being stressed out will do that to you, I guess.

What kind of dog is she?

Papillon is a mutt. I think she's part husky, maybe part hound, but it's anyone's guess, really.

Oh my! What an insane and awful day. I hate days like that, where one thing after another seems to go wrong.

One thing you can solace in: you know a day like that isn't going to come around again for a VERY long time!

Hope your Wednesday is much the opposite of your Tuesday!

Oh Marly! I'm sorry you had such a crazy day, but at least you writing it up served as very welcome entertainment over here. That probably does nothing to make you feel better though.

I've had my share of running after a dog crying too. Not because there were kids home alone, but because I was afraid she'd run into a busy street and get hit by a car. It's so annoying when you keep running and running and just can't catch the stupid animal.

And coackroaches! *shudders*

Nasty, foul animals!

I'm very happy I can finally put this icon to good use.

I like your icon, it was very appropriate. I was very afraid that she was going to run into the street, too.

Sure you're not laughing! Actually yesterday I was finally able to snicker about it a little bit.

Talking about something like this is always helpful, in my experience. Once you share it, you can laugh. Keep it to yourself, and it just festers.
