The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Jul 12, 2005 19:57

The BadI came home from work today and my front door was left wide open. I live in a very busy area here in New York, so needless to say, having my door left wide open for anyone that might want to enter pisses me off completely. I know who did it, that is not really the reason I am upset. It is not like I was robbed and someone stole everything ( Read more... )

It runs from the first weekend in Aug until the third weekend in Sept-but I cannot go the first two weekends

My vacation will be somewhere within the last two weeks of Aug... so that seems like a very good possible option that I am interested in....

I am not just trying to save my ass in saying this but there is NO way they could of gotten past me with those comics. I was sitting in your comp chair the whole time. I may trust people with myself but when it comes to other's property I am very protective.
I know how you are with loosing things... you try looking onder everything or behind the desk?? Don't ask my why.. I just know that lost things end up in weird places..

The Bad--The first thing i'd do is register a complaint w/ the Better Business Bureau, Unprofessional conduct and disregard for consumers welfare.

The Good-Books books books..the more the better..not much of a Stephan King fan though :S

The Ugly--Burnout tends to consume the mind, downtime/vacation can be a good thing.

I am rally pissed with someone being in my house so that seems like a damn god idea if you ask me.

I am long winded, so is King, I guess that is one the reasons I like him, or maybe he is the reason I am long winded?

I can't wait to have a vacation, and I am willing to spend as much as I can, to just get away... and do anything my little heart desires...

There's long winded w/ having something to say, and then there are a lot of words that say nothing at all.

I often avoid reading journals that are long, they tend to be filled w/ emptiness..know what i mean?

Oh I was SO like you as a kid, only difference was my folks wouldn't let me read late so I had to do the thing where you light a torch under the covers and hope they don't come to check ( ... )

I love to read, or at least used to before I started to write, then readin became taboo.. I do not read anything new.. because I do not want my ideas tainted... you know what I mean?

I have many thing worth a great deal... because I have always been into that, and heck the store I owned was all about that, so I have tons from the store....

I can't wait to take some time away... I want to be treated like a star... live the day just for the day.. with nothing to do and everything I want.. capable.... I am willing to spend... and for some odd reason... I have a feeling... I don't know why... but I do have a feeling... this will be my only chance....

Did you hire the guy to work on your house or did your landlord? You do still rent right? I can't remember. Either way, if your landlord hired him complain about it. And if this guy works for a business call them and tell the manager about it as well. That is not acceptable behavior from someone working on your house.

I still have never read "It." I have never had the chance to buy it. Maybe that is because I stopped buying books off of Ebay. My account got shut down....long story behind that. It is still on my list though. One day I will get it.

Vacation....oh I wish I could get away for a weekend. I know, I know, it isn't like I have a stressful job or anything....I just need a change of scenary.
Whether you go alone or take someone with you....you need to go and not worry about anything for that whole time you are gone. Just relax and enjoy yourself. You are way over due.

I still rent, yes...

You would love that.. "It"... it really is the be all end all of books... in my opinion....

Mom is a stressful job, just stressful in a different way... but it still takes it's toll...

I am so looking forward to a vacation...

When I was lookng for a used copy of "It" I could never find one. I don't know if they are rare....or maybe everyone likes the book so much that they don't want to part with it? Though ever since you highly recommended, it has been at the top of my Stephen King list.

It is a two letter word... It is a popular word... so those are two reasons you will not find it... they will not allow the search... do Steven Kings it... and I am sure you will find it....

Actually... I owe you more then a few gifts... so make when we talk... give me your address... and I will buy it for you and send it as a gift... I would not only be glad to give you a deserved gift... but happy to share something I love greatly....

What say you?
