This has been a rough couple of days for everyone in my household as my brother (not the one who I've written about before, another brother who has shown what kind of person he truly is lately) has taken it upon himself to try and divide our family against my mother. This most recent episode was started on Sunday night when she informed him that

I have to agree with what the others have said thus far. It's far better for your nephew to see his father being arrested than to continue to live in a turbulent environment with an impulsively violent individual. Considering the circumstances, it seems that it's in your nephew's best interest NOT to be in his father's care...I don't know what sort of relationship your brother has with your nephew's mother, but it's possible that she could work out some sort of visitation with your family apart from your brother.
Don't worry about that right now, though. The immediate issue is ensuring the safety of your nephew and your mom.
