Last night was a blast, for those who don't know: ravorart organized an informal lj get together last night, and it was a huge success. I think there were 15 or 16 people there, and only 2 didn't have a journal

If i list people i will invariably miss someone, and that would suck. There were lotsa people though, you should definitely come next time! We got food and drinks, it was very relaxed.
hey tall people!satanvisionJuly 13 2001, 11:22:41 UTC
last night was amazing! It was great finally meeting you guys, and I wished we could have talked more before someone turned the music volume up!
we didn't even get to discuss hockey!
speaking of which, another wonderful thing to do on days off.... roller hockey!

well, hey, that never stopped me... once you start chasing a puck, you don't worry so much about stopping as much as following the curve, and that's when you begin to discover the zen of hockey.
By the way, we went to the horribly-publicized NHL-breakout today, over by the USS Intrepid. We saw two inflatatable (yes, inflatable) rinks set up, and we got our fill of it, and then I bumped into my co-worker/friend Maggie, who plays ice-hockey in two different leagues 3 times a week, and she told me that yes, there were three more rinks actually on that goddamn boat. She had just been eliminated in competition by some very disciplined 18 year olds she told me. I have pics that I'm uploading now on the July site, and they should be done in a few hours. (it's 5:30 right now.)

Was idly wandering through random LJ's when I came across your page and, via that, your website. I like your work.
