The USFA (US Fencing Association) gives out five ratings, from A (the best) to E (the worst). But the majority of fencers are actually unrated, so don't even have an E. I had a D my senior year of high school, but at Princeton I didn't fence any USFA events, so my membership expired and I lost my rating. But this was a big enough tournament that finishing third got me a D, so now I'm back to where I was before Princeton :-).

Yeah, back to where you were after only _one_ tournament! Good job hun! :-) You keep it real out there and you'll prolly land yourself with a C soon.
