My paper on compact routing was just accepted to PODC! Looks like I'll be going out to Portland in mid-August, which should be fun. If nothing else, I'll get to visit mdmbuttafly and catch up a bit

Is this derived from a project you did in a system class?

No, this is actual research that I'm interested in. It grew out of work I did on sparse spanners last year with Anupam and Hubert -- I basically adapted our spanner techniques to a routing context. I tried to extend this paper for my networking project, but the professor said that it was too theoretical.
