I made our reservations at the Best Western for Fri, Sat, and Sunday nights, Dec 14-16, checking out on Monday Dec 17th. I suspect we can easily adjust them to add or delete days in either direction

It just means that when someone applies to join the community, you will get a notification in email along with me. Then whichever of us sees it first will approve the person, provided it's a name we know from the lotr community. It's easy. The notification will have a link and you just follow it to go where it needs to be checked off. If you have any doubt whether your approval went through, just go to the community profile page and see if that person's name is showing up on the member list.

And yay, I'll add you onto the maintainer list. Welcome aboard! (-:

And there's one in Laurel or Annapolis if you want to hit one next month--that Gandalf sandwich looks good, and pumpkin pancakes, too. Hopefully I'll have their monthly coupon for 20% off.

It all sounds lovely but sadly, financial issues have come up and will likely prevent me from coming. I've had some of the RL issues that cost serious cash turn up on my door step over the past two weeks. I was hoping to sort things out and still be able to afford the trip but it looks like that isn't going to happen. I will be with you in spirit so have fun for me. Maybe next year.
