Underworld: Evolution

The first movie wasn't exactly the most amazing thing ever, but I still loved it. It offered something different -- female heroines are scarce these days and a nice twist on old horror cliches. No, it was mediocre. It could have been so much more, but it felt as if the film makers settled and that's what makes it mediocre. There have been several female leads -- certainly in the last two years -- but none that can be categorized as being particularly good, with the exception of The Bride from the Kill Bill movies, or in the same vein as Selene. Catwoman, Elektra, Aeon Flux, the lead in the Resident Evil movies, and there's one coimg out called Ultra Violet but these were all kinds of embarassing and certainly not ones I'd call good. All this of course is my opinion. You're response did give me a pause, but I didn't think it was all that harsh. I think you and have have very different tastes, so most likely won't see eye to eye.

I really do need to update more often. But I enjoy reading more than writing, so I prefer to read my friends page. Has the LOST board at FF gotten any better?
