Bugzilla is getting evaluated here too, as is some product called Sesame. I'd be pushing Bugzilla, but one of the QA people is almost as lame as my idiot co-worker and she is deeply suspicious of anything I do, so I stay away to give it a chance.

The new guy is cool, and really bright, but I had built a relationship with the old guy. We clicked. This new guy is WAY too busy to be able to spend any professional "quality time" with him. :)

I always have to restrain myself from being too pushy when in a new reporting situation. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It was a real effort to keep quiet my first couple weeks here. After that, I gave up. --mjg

I have the opposite problem. In a new situation (and a lot of the time in an old situation as well), I find myself staying back and taking everything in rather than contributing. I'm putting a real effort into putting my ideas forth in a constructive, "I know I'm new but...." kinda way to gain attention without offending anyone. :)
