I need to get myself and my life together. I really fucking do.

Now answer a question, if you've read this you have to.

Did/Do you have an invisible/imaginary friend? Tell me all about them if you did.

I think I did, but I don't remember enough about my childhood to give any details. I think it was when I was very young, before school age, because after that, what I can remember is me being a big loner, with no one else around, real or imaginary.

P.S. - Don't feel bad, I'm 7 years older than you and I also need to get my shit together, big time.

Tons of them!
It depended on what state I lived in.
I think it was a psychological thing where I created a new friend for every new environment I was in.
For a while it was Simba and Nala.
(I'd pretend I was also a baby lion, and Nala didn't have shit on me. Simba thought I was cute. ;) )
Then it was this hunk. (The one in the middle.)

True story: It was made by the guy who did Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I never had an imaginary or invisible friend.

I did, however, have all the characters in whichever book I was reading at the moment to keep my mind flowing free form in between the boundaries of reality and imagination with or without the contextual guide of the book.

Also, when I talk to myself, either in my head or aloud, I do so with an accent. It helps me to feel less crazy and more like I'm talking to someone else about whatever it is that I'm talking about.
