Between internship and wedding planning, we've unsurprisingly been a bit busy. So far, internship's not too bad. I still get to go home by 5 unless I'm "short call", and even that sends me home around 6. First day of actual call will be Sunday, 8am-6pm shift. Are they still doing the independent parade up on the hill as well? I never went to the downtown one choosing instead to go to the original location where a bunch of the local groups were putting on their own parade despite the official one having moved.
But it's been a couple years since I moved out of town, so I don't know if it's still being done.

There was something called the Dyke March, which went right down 12th Ave. Haven't seen one happen on broadway, which is where I guess it used to be.

Hooray!

Been recently reading about the explosive debate going on regarding the proto-DSM V. And thought, (a) hey, this is really important, and I bet my LJ friends would like to know more about this and (b) holy #$#!, am I the *wrong* person to write about this.

Would love to hear your thoughts about the whole affair sometime.
