Grief is weird

Grief is a weird thing that hits you at weird times. I had a breakdown last night because I ran into BJ's and I saw some of those peanut butter eggs thingys that my mom loved, loved, loved. Ugh, Susan. I'm so sorry about everything--your mom, your dad, your poor nephew. Everyone needs a gramma to spoil them rotten. Maybe your MILs would be willing to step in? They sound like wonderful women and maybe with a little encouragement from you they might decide Ethan is a perfect candidate for adoptive grandchild (assuming your sis would approve, of course ( ... )

I didn't get a chance to respond to your post yesterday b/c things were crazy here, but I just wanted to say that I am glad you were able to talk to Todd about your friends and the thoughts you were having. I think Todd and everyone else is/was correct in saying sometimes people don't know what to do, so they do nothing, but I completely agree that it still sucks. Hopefully spending the weekend with them will help you get past the hurtful feelings, or hopefully it will at least be addressed in some way this weekend so you are able to either deal with it or move past it ( ... )

First, I'm so sorry again about your mom...

I think helping your sister out is a great idea...

and I'm sorry that I am totally not up on the friend's issue, and I'm sorry that hurts. I hope you have a good time on your weekend away...

All that important stuff having been said, where's the good Mongolian BBQ?
