Can I just say that over the past week or so, I've have about 15 moments where I thought - gee, I haven't really posted at all to livejournal in the past 10 months at all, not since Holly was born, about anything other than updating which books I've read. I should totally be working on my grant right now, but I have a draft, I've been up til 1:30 or 2 every night the last week working on it, and I am waiting on my advisor for a few things - so it's time for a mental break.

Once again, we take a look at the comings and goings of Matt's reading habits. Part of me is interested in going back to recording the children's books I read as well. Willow's Pre-K teacher has been making us keep a journal of all the books we read to her, as well as the amount of time spent on each one. And in the few weeks we've been doing it ( Read more... ) -

Well, another year over, another begun, another book list compiled. Looking back, in 2008 I read 45 books, not counting children's books. In 2009, that number dropped to 25. I didn't reach my goal of a book a week either year, but that's OK. The marked decrease from '08 to '09 was expected - commuting time was more than cut in half, and got ( Read more... ) -
