that no one anywhere seems to be excited or even talking about Warren Jeffs going to jail...and the brave young woman that put him there. Where are all my warrior AS sisters and brothers. I posted about this in 2 separate threads and no one is reading them. What bothers me a bit is that I feel like if I would have said something like Fighting

Well I haven't been on AS in a few days but I have to say I wrote my article for this week's sociology paper on this trial. I'm super pleased to see he is found guilty. I just feel that it is partially a cop-out - he did a lot more then the accomplice to rape charges.......its so touchy because people do not want to put "religion" on the stand. I'm not saying that its right - or that it would entail it - but I think a lot of people choose to go that route because its easier.

I knew that my social activist sister were still out there. Thank you for posting your comment. I was feeling sad that there was no celebration of sorts on line. It is touchy but when you leave religion out of it rape is rape and old Mr. Jeffs went down.
