Todays appointment was wonderful. Speck is a little boy. His name is O'Rion and he is beautiful and perfect. I saw all 4 chambers of his little heart beating. I saw his kidneys, lips, ears, bladder....everything. He is truly amazing. During the scan he wiggled and turned and flipped. He is very active. I am healthy. My child is healthy and

This is wonderful to hear!!! Congratulations on the baby boy!!!! YAH!!! (Not to mention you were right!!) That news about your midwife really sucks. I'm not sure how it works but would you consider getting a different one? I mean this is a big deal - it should be done with somebody that doesn't send you in a tizzy and listens to you.

Thank you!!! I am on cloud 9000. It was and is amazing. As far as the midwife goes we worked it out and my original opinion of her was correct. She just had to cover all her bases to make sure that I was safe and that baby was safe. After all my test came back and she saw that i was truly very healthy and that my issues were anxiety and stress she confided in me that she is a survivor as well. Oddly enough the specialist she referred me to has a daughter that was sexually abused by a prominent city official. Even though it was invasive looking back on it it feels like they went into ultra protective mode. I am honored that my little one will be aided on his journey by a fellow survivor. I am on meds now for anxiety and stress and it is going well. Thanks for the well wishes. i will keep you posted.
