My ring snapped. It's got a ring guard on it, so I don't need to worry about it yet, but this is the second time! Good heavens. Last time I had to have entirely resized. I suppose I could do that, but it's not really the best time. I'll see where I am next year.

Definitely wait. Your fingers are most likely going to be doing some swelling over the next year. And it might take a while after birth for it to go down. Even when Lauren was 9 months old I was seriously considering getting mine resized 'cause I still couldn't wear it. I waited it out though and a couple of months later was able to get it on. (Yet another reason to avoid IV fluids and pitocin unless truly medically indicated. grrr.)
