Every day feels longer and longer. Of course, every day is longer, at the office. There's a terrible amount of work to be done, but be assured: we are doing it. No one is more aware of the increase in Death Eater activity, but if the headlines make you fearful, don't forget that there are those of us who aren't letting this slide by. I will ( Read more... )

You know I'd make time for a relaxing evening with my favorite coworker. I suppose you can bring Frank along as well. I know you're a bit sweet on him.

Seriously, I think we could all do with some time to relax away from the office. Perhaps something simple and low key - dinner somewhere? I'd offer to cook, but cheese sandwiches and ale is hardly a fitting meal for company.

Kings, you're too sweet. And I do, in fact, fancy the boy. You must be quite clever to have figured that out. I guess that's why you're such a good Auror!

I happen to think that cheese sandwiches and ale is a perfect meal but if you insist. I'm not sure he's quite up to a place with too many people, but a quiet restaurant might work, or a picnic, if there's a day with nice weather!

We always manage. You watch out for yourself, hear?

Well, the Hat didn't sort me into Ravenclaw for nothing!

Hmm...I eat out a lot, so I think a picnic would be great if we could have one day where it doesn't rain bloody cats and dogs. I'll bring cheese sandwiches. And apples. Ha...those are simple enough and there is no risk of me doing anything even remotely akin to burning them or making them taste like dirt.

'We always manage.' I continue to be inspired by you and Frank's indefatigable courage. If you know of any women who are half as brave and wonderful as you are, send 'em my way, eh?

I have no intuition right now. The Sight comes and goes and most of the time all it tells you is where you left your keys. I don't know what they're doing, they strike without warning and without any pattern, and I don't know what's going on with Voldemort. He was much too easy to beat, and there's something really really wrong with that.
