When the time comes, I think you should request a hip with wireless technology.
I know three people who have had joint replacements & they are very happy and highly active- and especially glad to not be in pain anymore! I think the worst part for them was the time before and leading up to the surgery - pain and anticipation.
The comic book class sounds so awesome! Lucky!!! I WISH I could be teaching my fun class this semester - Imagery for Children! Oh well.

but at least you won't have to wait until you're in your 80s, take a nasty spill, and then end up in the hospital for the rest of your living days b/c a hip replacement surgery is out of the question due to the shape your heart is in...
that will be saved for the rest of us suckas.
