I have SO much more energy on sunny days.  My house is actually starting to look clean and I spent the afternoon sewing for my sister's baby gift.  But I still haven't figured out how to get flames on the diaper bag without looking cheesy...but I have gone as far as I can go without sewing in the flap, so when I do figure it out then I can just put

Wow. Your Kate sounds a lot like my Claire. That's the kind of day we're having with her.

We only ever put locks on the cupboards full of dangerous stuff with Elizabeth. With Claire, if we leave the pantry cupboard open, we come from the living room to discover the spices neatly arrayed in a double line on the floor, minus one or two that went into the back room. I still can't find my paprika. So EVERYTHING now has a lock on it. You can imagine how much fun she's been on vacation - I call her to come to me, and she runs the other way at top speed, no matter what or who is in her path. She scares me out of my wits, that child.
