I've been a homebody all this month. Applied for a job yesterday at Huron Metropark. Going back and forth from MiWorks. I'm not in any rush to ruin my life with work. SURE I would like to get a job and have the money.. but no thanks on the rush ( Read more... )

Riding around in an ambulance seems cool, but hope you don't have to go see any people dying. When I was younger my dad took me along with him to pick up people at the scene of an accident. He worked at a mortuary so he picked up dead bodies. He wanted me to see what he did and why he came home from work in such a bad mood some time. So yeah, saw some gory dead people and I puked. (I'm a wimp) and he just laughed and said see. I just said, well, why don't you just go work somewhere else then if it is just this bad that you have to come home and treat us like crap. He just looked at me and didn't know what to say.
