me_llamo_nic: That "attempt to build a TARDIS" has been driving me mad ever since "The Lodger" first aired and even the S6 opener didn't completely satisfy my curiosity. An Omega story would probably tie a nice little bow on it.

Oh god. That's...
I'll get back to you.
Lots of good stuff in your theory, although I have a slightly different one, wherein the only time the Doctor (a Time Lord) can speak his name is when he bonds with a TARDIS. Insert Clara, etc.
Not sure where that is going though, so never developed it further.
Mostly... BEETLE ON TREE HOLY GOD! /o\

A theory I can put forth with slightly more confidence is that we might get Clara's mother back. Perhaps she wasn't supposed to die, but time went wrong because of the beetle. And that's where "blood calling to blood" will come back into play.
I've never guessed anything else correctly though. Not before an episode aired anyway. Best I've ever managed is to guess something a few scenes away, during the episode. If any part of any of my theories actually comes to pass, I may have to faint.

It's like a perception filter? I keep thinking I can see it out of the corner of my eye, but when I turn there's nothing there. And the annoying thing is that the answer will be beautiful and elegant...

I've pondered this myself. Mostly because of the weight that seems attached to 'I will always be there'. The blood calling to blood I generally assign to Doctor/River/Clara/TARDIS. (Everyone is related!)
