I think I have about an 8% chance of passing this exam on Friday. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND Gestión Bursatil. It's depressing because the concepts with which I seem to struggle the most are ones that I ONCE understood in English- The Dividend Discount Model, Free Cash Flows, etc

I once had an awkward moment with my friends when all of us were sitting around a table at the Cellar and Sonja Madera said something about a date we once went out on. Like an idiot, I put down my drink and before I could think better asked, 'Wait a minute, I used to date you?'*

I'm glad to know I'm not having one of those moments right now and that I in fact never ever dated you. I'm also glad your reaction wasn't 'me date Eric?! Ewwww!' Even if that actually was your reaction. It probably was but you didn't say so because I read this and Jackie doesn't so it's easier to get by with calling her a ditzy freshman.

I really wish I hadn't pursued that train of thought to it's logical conclusion.

* This is not the only time this happened in conversation between me and Sonja Madera. She later made a comment about dancing on a bar in tight clothes and a sparkly shirt at a party. I said, 'whoa, kinky. How come I missed that? Where was I?' She replied, 'Helping me onto the frickin' bar, idiot.'

By the way, not that I mind at all being seated at your table, but do you happen to know if I'm also going to be seated with Joe? If they don't seat me with a friend I've had for going on eight years and contrived instead to stick me with a girl I may not get along with because supposedly we dated, I'm going to get them a really crappy present. :-P
