The bird one is fun, too. Is that bark for the wings?

Kristen, the wings are made from a very thin wood veneer that I washed first with titanium white (and lots'n'lots of water) and then wiped on/off with mars black.

I love the combinations of the materials... wood, metal, glass. Such a simple and natural shape. Somehow, it's just right.
