there's a pixel rug I wish i could just touch it
are they felted pom poms? there is a smaller rug made of pompoms
and the stuff from nepal .. the funky bright afgahn with an assortment of motifs
I've made one of those....

maybe its a temporary ick
i've gotten rid of my blarring headache
took a chunk of cookie and advil

hope she feels better soon

we had sunshine yesterday

lol in another life I would've made the zipper moveable. Thank goodness I'm a bit less anal about that now. ;)

I clicked from your post yesterday ... oodles of stuff there. A tad costy though. The pixel rug ... kinda reminds me of a REALLY poofy hooked rug. I wonder if it sproings when you lie on it? Like one of those individual coil beds. Only softer.

Sunshine today. Giving way to rain and 10cm of snow overnight. Good thing Tom is out getting the studded tires on this morning. Time to clear off the front porch too!

its a pretty frost here today
your snow was rain here
studs aren't legal here anymore.
M has snow tires he won't put on
so think they're too old to use safely anymore.

nothing at anthropology is affordable
but the ideas are marvelous.
wonder if walking on the poofs one might
have a problem getting stuck between them.
definitely something i'd put on the wall.
or the bed... come up to my place i've got balls to show you?
hehe

in the one package that person sent you 5 of the 7 immortals
- wonder if she found them at the store on haldsten?
there's a lovelery pair of japanese import stores there...
but i didn't get into chinatown -something to look forward to
when I get back to chicago

i've 2 of them quan yin and the big headed dude(peace and harmony)
i need the one with the warrior suit - he's the one that brings in money
so of course hes' the one missing. pfft

its just too early for winter
i'd be happy to have it come round next year

Oh! Thanks for "naming" the asian dudes. Apparently there are 8 altogether. Fin said they were given to her.

I second bypassing winter this year!

john wants me to move my blog from typepad to my site and use wordpress. so i think that's a project i'll be taking on in the new year. i'm a little intimidated. is it really hard?

If you can use typepad you'll be able to use wordpress. If you need help setting it up, just holler!

welll that's a pretty fucking cool webpage...people don't go to websites? who knew??? I must live in a cave.

we've had some dry days here - but I expect the rain back tomorrow. I think NS sounds so...mysterious and romantic...or something. :) I'd love to see it someday.

lol But by the sound of the LJ peeps you're in pretty cozy company in that cave. I confess I'm a feedreader. (sounds like mouth breather LOL)

Well. If you ever do get here, know you have a standing invite. xo

i still go to websites. lots of them. i like to read peep's journals (i still hate that word blog) on their own sites. (except for LJ, which i read on my f-list, because there are too many ugly and obnoxious LJ "themes") websites are fun to make. i will be checking out yours today, i'm sure!

i still haven't figured out how to do an RSS feed/reader thing. i mean, i don't have a CLUE! i also don't twitter.

i think i have become old-skool.

Ditto on the word "blog". Right up there with 'moist' and 'tummy'.

do you use firefox as browser? check out Brief. (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4578) Click on "Add to Firefox" ... set up a "feeds" folder in your bookmark and direct it to use that. SO simple to use. Granted you want see the pretty sites I make anymore but you can read so much more! ;)
